From the moment we arrived, Cherry, our gracious hostess, made us feel undeniably at home, her radiant personality illuminating the cozy abode. The whimsical décor of our room, complete with a spacious skylight, offered us tranquil views that blended seamlessly with the serenity of the garden outside. Each morning, we indulged in delightful breakfasts that fueled our days of adventure, while the picnic basket prepared by Cherry accompanied us to the park, providing sustenance long into the evening. The comfortable beds ensured restful nights for both my husband and me, an uncommon feat for a poor sleeper like myself. As literature enthusiasts, we couldn't help but appreciate the history encapsulated in this quaint B&B, knowing it wasn’t just the building but the stories and connections that thrived within its walls. For those considering a visit, do take a stroll to the nearby 11th-century donjon—its starlit charm is not to be missed. We departed with memories to cherish and a hope for lasting friendships, all thanks to our incredible stay here.
